Arvo's Lending Library

Sometimes we receive donations of new and gently used books that don’t quite fit the needs of Arvo’s Library and aren’t suitable for donation to hospitals. Rather than let these books go unused, we wanted to find another way to put them to good use and better support our local communities.

That’s how we came up with the idea for Arvo’s Lending Library!

We’ve established a Lending Library at Razor’s Edge Barber Shop in Rindge, NH, where community members can discover a book, enjoy it, and pass it along when they’re finished.

We also add books to local lending libraries whenever we come across them, helping extend the generosity of our donors to even more members of our community.

And we hope to keep expanding Arvo’s Lending Libraries! If you know of a business, organization, community space, or other location that would like to host an Arvo’s Lending Library, or somewhere that would benefit from receiving books to add to an existing lending library, please reach out to us! 

Each of our books receives an AJMMF sticker on one of the front pages, along with our contact information. This helps identify the book as part of Arvo’s Lending Library and allows readers to connect with us.
